bring about 10 Bucks (Max is $10 per person) for those who haven't paid. ( those who paid, the excess will be refunded.)

There will be games,

we couldn't get the chalet on 28th...

so choices are...

1) we book costa sands chalet, but if we do so, the rent would double to 300, and i haven't even collected 200 buck...

2) we postpone chalet to jan or later

3) we have a bbq instead on the 28th.

please let me know what u think, those who replied already dun need to reply.

okay.

here it is, i understand, some people cannot make it on 2nd day, and some cannot on first day.
so far, 2 cannot make it second day and 1 cannot make it for 1st day.

so we have the choice of

A

bbq night on first night, then second day, we can go for a picnic at pasir ris park around noon/ evening.

-waterbomb can be during bbq night or at picnic.

B

bbq night on second night, then no picnic.

C

we go picnic on 2nd day morning to about mid afternoon, then bbq night on 2nd day night.

pick one and let me know. if u have are fine with everything, then put anything. thanks. =)

Just answer the following few questions in the board...

1) Which is your preferred month for the chalet, Dec (21-24) , Jan or (take into account of the dates u need to go back to school/ holiday etc. )

2) What is your approximate budget range for the chalet. (less than $15, $15, $15 to 20, $20 to 25)

3) If you have any preference of locations (or objections about)... ( Costa Sands/ Aranda /Hometeam Ns)

this would take u less than 5 minutes, so please do it and reply on the tagboard in a week by next week, 5 Sept.

hey!

i know its like super late... but here are the pictures, hope u guys have fun that day =)

and for people who couldn't come and want to know what happen, here's my account?

lols. that day, there was loads of food, and soon after we arrived, the girls went into the kitchen to like cut bread and stuff, then the guys stayed in the living area...

then the girls stayed in the kitchen and talked and talked, and danielle and germain were obsessed with their prawn salad, though i admit it tastes great. hahas. ( but they wanted to keep it all for themselves... so sad... lols. ) but still they shared and for some reason, stella keeps dropping the scoop for salad into the dish and angela had to wash to spoon like ... ( i lost count) how many times... hahas. and naturally, we teased stella for being herself.

then soon, the guys came into the kitchen. and after chatting for a little more, we all went out together and we took pictures with the huge card that we gave ms tan. we also gave her 2 years worth of calenders. =) and a cd with a video of our photos. then we went to watch the video at the computer, and it was quite bad because there was this huge thing covering the middle of the screen ( sorry about that...) then some of the girls went to sit by the chair, and some stayed around the computer while ms tan uploaded the photos. then i joined the girls by the chair to take some picures. ^^

lols, the guys by now were playing the fruit game... hahas. then soon after yay! we played truth or dare and we sort of tricked her departure flight and date out of ms tan. but well, we were lucky, the bottle kept spinning to her. the only brave soul that took a dare was angela and she was dared to finish the remaining potato salad.

we lost interest in the game soon... and stopped. i was kinda sad that eugene left so soon. i wanted to dare him to do jumping jacks... oh well...

then we stoned for a while and ms tan and mr kat arrived with tom yam soup! hahas, then we played the true colours game which was really fun. hahas. some of us sabo each other... hahas. others ( like me...) just remained honest...

we played that for like hours. taking turns. some people picked the questions some answeredthen after a long while, some people went into the kitchen for dinner, and they stayed there to chat. then some people started the fruit game again. and as usual, we always have to spoil the bell. lols. =P then we cleared up and went home around 9 i think... (i think we made a huge mess so sorry ms tan...)

and then we all walked to the mrt station together. =)

erm, yes there will be a chalet provided we can find common dates. =)

and we are not sending ms tan off at the airport. if there is a gathering this holidays, i will let u guys know okay. so check the blog frequently. =)

since we eating at 3, maybe have something light before coming.

2. A report on our dear friend Janice in UK! LOL. I think she's doing fine there ? Heard that she's not doing very well for the subject: LAW because she is distracted by the very HOT FRENCH GUY sitting beside her. LOL.

3. We had some 'breakfast meeting' at YEWTEE's MAC. Eventually, we landed up at mdm tan's house with mr kat, gin, tsukian, eric, danielle, doreen, germain and myself!

4. We gave Ms Tock a call too and she's glad that we are all doing well!

5. Next, we are planning to go on an 'excursion/hiking' (or whatever you call)
on 10 APRIL (good friday) from HOT PARK(not sure of the spelling) to HABOURFRONT FOR BREAKFAST. so it should be ABOUT 6am -10am. Further updates will informed via sms. :)

another event will be MDM TAN's FAREWELL PARTY AT MDM TAN's HOUSE!
9 MAY ( SATURDAY/VESAK DAY). TIME : 1pm - 5pm.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! =)

here to blog about going to movie and lunch with Janice then coming over to my place to Wii...

here are the pictures!

On 28th Jan 09, Thur, 11 of us went to watch Wedding Game at 11.20... then we were late!! or rather Janice was late... so we all went in late and the movie already started by then!! hahas. It was an okay comedic movie... Then, we went to lunch at food junction and cleverly pulled tables together to accommodate all 11 of us...

**meanwhile janice was MIA!! ( how sad, she left us while we came out specially to meet her before she flies of...)**

After lunch, we left food junction and waited outside cotton on for Janice and Jocelyn while they bought something... and we chatted about school. Stella "pissed" Tsu Kian and daryl taking about JCs. then she suggested the guys should wear green pants to school on 2nd feb... hahas.

After a long time, Janice and Jocelyn finally arrived! Then we made our way to the control station and we stayed there for a long time... the girls keep talking to Janice while the guys waited behind... And in the end, the impatient Tsu Kian cut her off and said "okay, bye bye" and we all left... lols.

Then as we walked to my place, Stella complained that she was melting under the sweltering sun... then we got to our place and we played Wii until about 6 plus... hahas. It was funny as we pitted our wits *or rather strength* against one another and i think by the end of it all, everyone had really tired arms... =P

Just wanted to thank all that came and hope u enjoyed ur day =)

Also, i have changed the top banner and added a jukebox. =) and also keep the blog going by TAGGING ya!!

And for people who are still super upset and can't get over the fact that they cannot get into the school they want or into the same school as their friends read the quote...

Thinking about the JAE posting in this way made me more calm yesterday... so i hoped it makes u feel better too. =)

hey guys. here to upload photos for chalet... =)

and here's a brief summary of what happened at chalet

bbq night was the first night and thanks to eric and tsu kian, the fire was up rather quickly then some guys cooked the food and tsu kian played songs from his laptop, (some of which were rather old school...)

then we made the game where we 'tap' the bell when there are five fruits and besides eric, the rest of us kind of slam the bell, as such it spoilt. (sorry ms tan =P)

then, later... the girls went to chit chat in the room while the guys continued with mah jong, playing game consoles and cycling. =)

day 2, went by with everyone doing stuff in cliques, the most girls went out to escape and dinner was mainly cooked by stella and danielle (i think...). and we, as a class. actually sat at the round table and had dinner together! first time in like years. ( yay! new tradition!).

after dinner, we went bowling and chueng weng sure was a fast learner. he had a really low score at first, then caught up with mr kat ^^ (go cwtoo!) after which back at the chalet at around 12 plus, was time for heart attack! Alvin came up with a surprising joke about playing heart bypass... lets think about it... maybe we will get a chance to play that when someone creates it... mr kat as always, was really good at diving. and his hand was there even before the ones who shouted heart attack. There was also a game where tk (i think) pressed really hard on the hands of those below... punishment for not letting him shout heart attack... stella suggested that we play heart attack an hour before we get 'O's result... maybe we will do that... =) after a while, with red, stinging hands, we stopped to just chat. and one by one, we fell asleep.

day 3, we washed up and had breakfast, danielle was really hard to wake. hahas. then we took a group photo... distributed left over stuff (most of which yong ting took) and left. =)

LAST Saturday, we went for Ms Tan a.k.a Mdm Tan Wedding, and here's the update! (Yayness,update at last!)

We all met at 9.30am at cck. Then left only at 10... we took the mrt there... but when we change trains... we left out a few guys behind at the platform... (ops. and sorry) so we waited for them at queenstown (or is it queensway?) mrt...

After that, we followed Mr Kat and walked for like super long under the hot sun... and finally we saw the church!!! It is infact just beside the mrt station... but we all walked one big round... :( But nevertheless...
THANKS TO MR KAT FOR MEETING UP WITH US AND BRINGING US TO THE CHURCH. *cheers*

Okay, the names will be handwritten by ding xiong, so please give me the names you want on the shirt soon. i have found a vendor and will need to know what type of material you guys want. The above design chosen will be at the back. If you guys want something in front, Ding Xiong will draw, but do note that the price of the shirt will be more expensive with printing on both sides.

A class list will be passed round and this is what i need from you.

yay! good news. the chalet has been confirmed and booked.

DATE: the date will not be posted here. please ask around for the date
VENUE : the venue will be costa sands PASIR RIS. click here for the details of the place okays.
maps are here.

Payment: Each person needs to pay at least $15 if you are staying for even a night.
If you are staying only for the BBQ you need to pay at least $10.
(If you think it is too expensive, feel free to let us know... will see what we can do...)

Meals: 4 Meals will be provided.

Things to bring :
1) change of clothes/ shoes etc.
2) sleeping bags
3) tidbits
4) entertainment stuff. -
5) Towels
6) Swimming Wear (if you want to swim)
7) Insect repellent (always beware of the mozzies. - bring if you want to...)
8) Toiletries ( pls remember your toothbrushes too!)
9) chargers for your electronic stuff.

Activities/ Entertainment activities that might occur:

This would be the plan (unless anyone has violent objections)

we would hold a picnic at cck park(due to some reasons...) and all you guys have to pay for is the food and drinks, which is not settled yet. Then we would play games like wacko and whatever we can find to do, card games like uno etc bahs... and chit chating of course.

done. it is a short plan but still a plan.

but sadly, from what i gather the teachers will most probably not be able to attend. so it will be a student 2b gathering.

if you have any suggestion, comments tag it or you can tell me, so we can improve the picnic!

Class Gathering at Settlers Cafe

Hellos! Gin here blogging on the trip. I am so sorry i forgot the camera, if not there would be interesting photos and even videos... but i will still try to recall what really happen and describe it in the post ya... so here it goes...

That day, a bunch of 2bians gathered at about 1 plus... and set off at about 2... yes we took so long... xP lols. okays then we take mrt to settlers cafe and Stella was going on about her the red blinking light is a sensor and Mr Kat and i just kept repeating it was not... lols. then after that doreen started asking her question. (Q like... Farmer A sell meat, Farmer B sell Vegetable, Farmer C sell what? Ans: Pharmacy sell Medicine... <-- thats type of question...) Then we just kept answer and arguing and answering and aruging while the rest of the boys were chatting in their own grp... then we reach jurong le... need to change train... so we change stop then continue the chatting...

finally we reach buona vista le... then we walk to the cafe... then on the way there... we meet ppl on 'donation duty"( i have no idea what its called... but its the ppl that take the tin can and give u stickers when u donate...) then Doreen ask Mr Kat fer coins to donate then she take the sticker... then Mr Kat and i also donate... then we carried on walking walking... then...

ta-da! we reached the cafe!! we entered and put down our stuff and took a seat... then doreen and tk went to take the fruit (a.k.a violent) game... and the started to play larhs... they play like super funny de lor... the keep aruging then keep wacking each other.. so when the drinks came... we said cannot put at our table... this table for violent ppl later all spill.. lols. then after that the ppl still playing the fruit game took the cushions and started wacking each other on the head! lols. funny scene indeed... (btw... they were very loud and noisy tru the game...) okays... then Tsu Kian say Doreen wack until his spectacles bent... but i think he manage to do smth so it was fine again... then Mr Kat was like saying about the nearest hospital upon seeing the violence between them... lols. (just in case)

okays... during this time, we are asked to made our orders... and the kind Mr Kat was like our personal waiter. he asked each of us what we wanted and we gave him our orders... then he help us other... long process... lols. Then later the some of us changed choice of food cus the kitchen dun have whatever we want... after that... Jun Liang, Stella and I went to get a game simliar to the fruit game since they excluded us from it... (sobs...) we played the slam-wich game... also considered violent de... but the 3 of us not us violent as the 2 violenters (Doreen and Tsu Kian) lols. but it was also beacause we just start larh... so still kinda slow...

then food came!! yay! we all switch tables and ate... Doreen kept stealing food and so we kept stealing her food =P lols. she stole french fries... lols. So to protect her food, she took her plate and put it on her leg... nobody can reach her food...

Then, the second grp of ppl came... Ms Tan came with her bf / husband!! lols. surprise to us... then when they entered... Ms Tan and her husband sat at a corner alone... lols. The Tsu Kian kept making fun of them... He said, " Ms Tan where is the cigarette." lols. then lala say Ms Tan husband don't understand... so Tk repeated it again in Chinese... Then someone else was like... Ms Tan don't beat me... lols. well then the ppl at our table was like laughing like crazy... hahas.... ( then Ms Tan say we very noisy...) lols.

then we change the violent table... lols. then the rest ordered their meals and the other girls played the fruit game while waiting fer food... Doreen then abandoned her food and went to join them... then we started stealing her food... =P i said her food finish le... then she say okay... lols. lala then squeezed lemon on her fish... lols. then after tat.. jl, lala and me continue out not so violent , violent game... lols then like never end like tat... on and on and on... then the guys were playing risk... and the girls the other games... So everyone just played games and ate food...

then after tat... all the girls played taboo. lols. and when the word was cow. the person just said calvin. Then everyone immediately shouted cow! lols. I know its weird way to play taboo... but it works. ^^ then we all had fun with that.. then a few of us went to play twister... and thank god nobody broke a bone while we did.... lols

before we played taboo... Tsu Kian and Doreen the violentiers... were playing a game called ugly ugly i think... lols... it was really cute larhs... and noisy and violent... lols. then they keep shouting ugly ugly ugly at each other!! lols. like they scolding each other when fighting like tat.... and after tat... Doreen, TK, Ms Tan and me we played the lotto game... got to do with numbers de... lols. and ms tan being bad with numbers... lols... then doreen dun want us say the number out.... lols. so it was quite bad and after some time we stopped... lols.

then the girls went to play cranium. lols. tat game really diffficult mans.... u need to be like multi-talented to win... u need to good with words, know how to sing, knowledgeable, good at art and craft... lols... okays... so 1/2 the time my grp dunno the song we were suppose to hum... lols. and we can't understand what each other is drawing and stuff. lols. kinda funny anyway... then Germain had to mold... and they play dough is like super hard and smelly... lols. then Mr Kat say he get another set... but the person at the store said that the other sets also very hard... so in the end the molding part is removed... so Germain touched the clay fer nth... hais....

Meanwhile the other grp of ppl were either playing risk or the fruit game... and eric was like super fast can... lols. i think he win everyone... even the violentiers... lols. Oh and i think everyone the hand swollen after the game... lols. this game invovles alot of hand slapping. lols. (cause they need to snatch to tap the bell when they see 5 of the same fruits... and apparently, everyone was hitting the bell a little too hard... except eric i think.. lols. eric really very insanely good bahs...)

soon it was time to go... so Ms Tan ask Tsu Kian to collect 6 bucks from everyone and everyone paid... then we bid Ms Tan and her husband goodbye outside the cafe and the rest of us walked to the mrt... then we split into 2 grps and went seperate ways... then it was Super crowded cause everyone going home from work le... then we waited for the next train which was equally crowded... so we had no choice but the squeeze into different parts of the train... lols. then it was time to change train... and again the train was super crowded... so we decided to wait fer the next train... and when the ppl from another train who is taking the same train as us arrived... we were like, quick stand properly... then we leave only one small gap fer the ppl to alight... lols. like tat we sure can get in de.. lols.

then when the train finally arrived... it was super empty... lols. so we got seats... and chatted.. then doreen was listening to her ipod and Germain's mp3 player at the same time... then we talk to her... lols. The Tsu Kian keep teasing her with the coconut issue... lols. it was a funny scene larhs... then at cck mrt station, a few of us got off and the others got off at yew tee.

so thats about it fer that dae. i trust that everyone had fun. lols. and fyi!! Ms Tan do not smoke or hit us!! we were just teasing her!! hehes. And Mr Kat was always teaching ppl how to play or keeping us get drinks, so he did not vanish into thin air and dissappeared... and Ms Tan was playing games (<-- wrote tat cause i realised that i did not mention their name much...)

!! MS TAN'S BIRTHDAE PARTY!!

hellos, its me again. Err.. no one blogged about the bbq party, so i just blog... but i have no pictures. someone post them ya. So that day went like this...

Stella, Yan Ni and I went to Sheng Siong to get all the stuff. Then we were later join by Calvin and a few other guys to help us carry the stuff ( actually to carry the stuff, cause we ended up not carrying anything...) then we took the lrt to petir and walked to jocelyn's house. Then we saw the other girls at the gate... they going to get cake... they help us open the door then we went her flat cause we need to prepare the food first...

upon reaching we realised that many people reached le! they all watching tv... lols. then Yan Ni, Stella and me we get the food ready until about 12 plus while jocelyn's mother went to help us get the bee hoon, she also help us make ice cubes, lend us alot of things! (thanks auntie!) then we waited for Jocelyn to come back cause no key to lock the door... then she come back already then we went down to start the fire...

the girls tried to start the fire and we actually suceeded for a little while, then the fire die le...zzz after about 1 hour... we still cooked nth... so the guys (Tsu Kian Pit Soon and Eric i think) set the fire and they suceeded!! yay. but before that, Jocelyn's mother came back with the beehoon and 10 pizzas. lols. thanks to her we did not starve to death. cause before the fire started most of the beehoon and pizza were gone, eaten. lols.

while they setting fire, the girls actually went to the play ground and came back only when they say fire set le... (lols. lazy ppl) at the play ground the girls were queueing- fighting for the swing in a fun sort of way. lols, Angela Stella and Dani they all fight one swing while i sit on the baby one which apparently nobody wants to sit (yay! have it all to myself =P) when Stella finally got her turn, Dani and Angela swung her SUPER HIGH!! so Stella scared, give up, then Angela sit the swing, and Dani and Stella offered to push her (evil grins** Stella want revenge!! wuhaha... okays...) but Angela did not allow them... aww.. no show to see... lols. and then after that we went back to bbq le! ya FOOD!

Then awhile before the fire was ready, Ms Tan and Mr Kat arrived! Mr Kat kept talking about chemistry or rather people kept asking ... So we people kept telling him to stop talking about chem... Ms Tan keep asking us faster say she very hungry, ( and TK tell Ms Tan not to act cute.. lols!) so she and Mr Kat went to eat the pizza and bee hoon first. Then people started giving her gifts and everyone just mingled.

Then Aisyah and Jun Liang arrived and Ms Tan received another present... She say that the card very important cause she got read de... so we decide to really write something in it then pass to Ms Tan, then she read it out loud... (wonder if everyone heard it...)

Meanwhile, the guys were bbq-ing le... so some of us went to and fro to get food... the Ernest and Pit Soon gang was at a table the rest of the guys of busy being chefs... then the girls of writing on the card or "repairing" the food... Yes repair... cause apparently we aren't great bbq chefs... so some parts are burnt... so to prevent cancer, we cut that parts off. hehes

okays... then after most of the food was bbq -ed the girls went to get the cake... they lit the candles only 2 big ones and came walking very slowly, then Ms Tan notice them bah. lols. xP then in front of Ms Tan then Stella they all light the remaining few candles bahs.... so in the end we all sang birthday song and Mr Kat was a camera man for some long time... we also ask Ms Tan to take out the candles with her mouth (hehes. actually want to push her face down into the cake one but we fail. =.+) then Ms Tan cut cake and put on serviettes.

then stella came out of no where with a slice of cake (evil grins** hehes) and she started applying cake on Ms Tan's face!! lols. Ms Tan then made an attempt to escape, but she failed...so more cake got applied to her face. =P then later got let over... wanted to apply on Mr Kat face... but we failed.. (=.+ haiz...) lols. so Ms Tan continue to cut the remaining cake and soon left with Mr Kat...

Then we started to clear up and before i know it, many people went to get ice Popsicles then just all sat there and chat... lols. So me and Angela concluded that 2Bians love Popsicles, so maybe next time 2b gathering we just find one place and everyone eat Popsicles and chat... easy to plan... lols

okays then after that some people went up to get their bags and everyone went home....

!!JOCELYN'S B'DAE PARTY!!

Hellos, Gin here... Err.. i know this is quite some time ago the event... but still it was an occassion for 2b girls to gather, so i still going to post about it ya... pictures will come in later. (yes i know i haven't posted night safari pics... soon...)

Okay... it was a night birthday party at a curry restaurant. Me and Doreen arrived super late... (xP our apologies to jocelyn and the rest who waited for us!) Then we went into the restaurant then we order our food.

Then while waiting for our food, jocelyn's mother started a game. The game goes like this... We have to look for letters of jocelyn's name around the our area... then the 7 people who found the letters will have to come up with a card for jocelyn... jocelyn's mother provided us with materials and we did the card! lols. (I also one of them... but i went to eat first... hehes. but i got help out later bahs...) Okay then we made a really nice card!! (see at pictures...) then after that danielle arrived. She was the last one i think... then after she finished her food... we all went to the restroom together... then we just loitered and everybody was mingling then jocelyn's mother told everyone to settle down and we did.

The Quizing Game continued( Before me and Reen came it started le...) Okays so this quizing game is done this way... All of us actually picked a number already so Jocelyn will have to pick who goes first, she picks a number from a box and the person with that number will have to answer a question given by Jocelyn's sister and Mother. It was actually quite funny cause sometimes when you are desperate, we just cheated... and on other times, some people gave false information. lols. I remember the question i was given, i had to give jocelyn's handphone number... lols. and i cannot remember, so Doreen they all helped me cheat. hehes. =P and then there was another on what was jocelyn's favourite drink... everyone just shouted different answers, then the person that really need to answer very confused. lols. But in the end, everyone got a gift upon answering the q.

Then soon it was time for cake cutting... the area we had was a very long rectangle area, so when take group photo very hard to get it... but after squeezing i think Jocelyn's dad managed to get the photo. Okay then we all sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY! lalala... then ya eat cake! but lols. the cake cannot be cut with the cake knife, so we borrowed a knife from the restaurant people. and they took out a SUPER BIG KNIFE!! lols. but the SUPER BIG KNIFE also cannot cut the cake, so we all just dig in with spoons! fun!! lols.

But since it is the birthday Party, there needs to be some kind of sabo-ing... so i think stella came up with the idea to put stuff on jocelyn's face... the cake was sticky and everyone took bits and tried to stick it on her face lols. it was super chaotic like war like that lols but very fun! lols. Obviously jocelyn lost the 'war' we so many people against she one person lols. then somehow or rather, other people's face become the target board... lols. i think stella and angela got it. lols. i almost became a victim cause they say i keep taking camera take picture of them... lols (i doing service le.. stil complain! lols)

okay then finally we took cleared up and took a grp picture and everyone was sent home and reached home safe and sound. =>

It was really fun i actually have videos of the cake and face scene but i don't think i going to put it up... hahas. the pictures will be up... and err. the food and cake was like real nice!!!!! lols. Thanks to Jocelyn and her family!

I am a fortunate teacher who is able to share a good 18mths

with all of you...

We truly had moments which were engraved deeply in my heart and mind

(although I am now a quarter of a century old!)

Mothering 38 kids was indeed a challenging task

at first...

I figured that the thought of it terrifies the faint-hearted.

Hellos people, I know it is really late for today... but still at least i updated! So here's the update on...

2B 140307 GATHERING AT THE NIGHT SAFARI

Attendence : 16 people. -Aisyah, Yan Ni, Danielle, Doreen, Stella, Thai Yeng, Gin, Calvin, Eric, Jun Liang, Esmond, Daryl, Yong Ting, Cheung Weng, Ding Xiong& Zheng Chuan

We all meet up at CCK MRT at about 5.45, then it was raining (bad sign...) and since the guys haven't had dinner, it was decided that they should go for dinner first... While the girls just hang around the mall for a little i think... Then at about 6 plus... the girls went to look for the guys outside Long John Sliver... We found the guys (at least some...) the taller guys were missing some of the shorter ones went to look for the taller ones and Aisyah say this (or at least smth like tat...) " The Tall ones get lost but the short ones don't." Lols.

cause usually if you are tall people can spot you easily you see... Then after some time the tall guys came out from the gents and we could not find the shorter ones... but after some more time... we finally are back together as a group of 16... so we happily went to the interchange and board the bus 927... Then we all chitchat with each other and i realised that more than 1/2 the ppl on the bus are 2Bians... lols ...

After about 15 minutes, we reached the NIGHT SAFARI!!! YAY! So we walked and we past by many er.. open flames on a stand.. and some of the guys actually felt tempted to put their finger there but luckily nobody did so... After some walking we reach the main area where we could get our tickets and where souvenirs and food are sold... So we gathered round and we realised we only had 50% coupons for 15 people when there are actually 16 of us. So we decided that we would each pay a little more than 10 to cover for the person (whoever tat maybe...) who needs to pay full price... each person paid about 10.60... cause if you do your maths 20 cannot be evenly divided by 16... so in the end AISYAH paid the remaining. THANKS AISYAH!! After that we each paid and went to get the tickets. The Auntie (who was very nice) say that she could give us maps and Eric who is very environmental friendly told the auntie we do not need that much, we very environmental friendly de... Nevertheless, we still took 16 sets... lols. =P

Then we headed for the enterance and we realised that the trail was not actually ready so if we want to, we could actually wait for about 5 to 10 minutes and we did. Some went to watch the show while some just went and sit around. Then, it was time to go in. Some animals we saw on the way was the deer, crocodile, bats, many types of birds, lions.... many animals, some of which only some of us with better eyesight could see and these people very kindly tried their best to point them out to the others who did not have such good eyesight in the night. THANKS PEOPLE!!!

After all that walking, we took a break and went to the canteen to have a seat, some of us bought food, drinks from there while others went to the toilet. It was decided that we would sit the tram (ticket price $4 from there...) after we see the giffraes. So we saw them some other animal. Then headed to get the tickets for the tram. Everyone paid for bucks and we paid the lady and got our tickets. The lady was very kind to let us all 16 go on the same tram.

So in the tram we travelled from Africa to Malaysia then to North America (i think) and saw the animals which are really close to us... The naturalist( i think is called that) explained some stuff about these animals to us and told us about the deforestation and we should carry out the 3Rs - Reduce , Reuse, Recycle. We were told about no flashes or lights on the tram and then reminded again specifically the back tram about that. Lols.

Then after that tram ride, we went to walk the suspension bridge where Esmond and Jun Liang had fun trying to shake it as much as possible. Lols. We walked and walked then realised we had to turn back, and again they tried to shake it this time even worst...

After that walk, we went to an area where if you crossed the gate, it would be the main area and its kind of like the exit... Then Dorreen, Thai Yeng, Yong Ting and Cheung Weng left first... Then we went out to the main area after getting stamped on the hand so we can come back later to watch the Animal Show. We went to a shop with loads of soft toys... then we played with them. Then we went into a glow into the dark shop, where even if your clothes are not luminous, they will glow. It really makes our accessories and shirts look nice. Lol.

Then after that, some went to the restroom and it was time to head back for the Animal Show, we had to queue early if not we will not be able to get sits. So we went and there was a photographer there and he took our picture for us and we could buy them after the show. So we chatted while we waited... waited for about 20 minutes i think... then at about 10 we went into the theatre and we sat at the 3rd and 4th row. After some instructions that there was not suppose to be lights and that we have to remain seated, the show started. The emecee was really funny by the way. Then we saw animals like the snake and an owl which looks a little like Harry Potter's owl - Hedwig. Then there were also the recycling animals who had to recycle the materials and the emcee told us the importance of the 3Rs. There is also an animal which could jump like real high. A cat i think... Also, the one which has a keen sense of smell. and took the grape from a little boy. And the Swedish guy who did what i call a dazzling smile instead of the macho one he was asked to do. Lols. In overall, the show was funny.

After the show, we went to collect our pictures and we bought 2 for $20 after thinking for a long while. ( we very thrifty one... think before spending and do not act on impulsivity. =P lols.) Then we split the cost between the 12 of us.

Then on our way out, we took some pictures as a group of 12. Then we headed for the bus stop where we chit chatted again... Then finally when the last bus arrived we on went aboard and took our seats... Then very quickly we arrived back at lot one and alighted at the stop opposite the 7- eleven. Danielle went on to catch the lrt home while the others went to 7-eleven, after buying everything, we loitered there for awhile, the guys finishing their drinks, the girls waiting for a ride. Then my brother came and picked the girls up and then we left the guys still there. Have no idea they stayed for how much longer. lols.

Okays. so thats practically the end. I think it is really LOOONG... Sorry about that... Sorry also cause i am bad with names and i can't really remember the names of the animals we saw... lols. Nevertheless, i really enjoyed my time there and i believe the other have to! ^^.

Hehes, its me again. Err... so here's the deal.

2B gathering will held time and date is confirmed. But due to safety reasons i shall not write them on the blog if not the whole world can see... so ask if about it ya.

Then time not confirmed, (you guys wanna go home change then go or go straight).

What are we doing there?

Lastly, i need to know how many ppl coming and the names pls... cus if you wanna meet then go, then we must make sure nobody gets left behind therefore the need for names. I need to know the number of ppl to buy the right amount of food and drinks. so please lemme know about it. If you guys are coming as a clique, then lemme know that your friends are coming too ya? Err... there mi9ht be a gathering on CNY, it would probably be on the eve of the eve if its a 1/2 day(16/1/07). Hope you guys will come bahs. =) I need a venue anyone noe where or would like to volunteer your house or smth...(hehes) I think the main source of food would be tidbits... maybe everyone just buy a packet then we share... we would probably just gather, chit chat, take photos, play sports or play games (90% sure not musical chairs type) Any suggestions pls share bahs, either through the taggy or call me or smth... anw. im part of this christmas@orchard event which will be held on 24th december until the countdown at orchard. Its jointly organised by Singapore Tourism Board and my church. basically, we are forming a 2000 strong choir to sing and some of us (which is my group) are going to make balloon hats! (show you pictures later) and be carolling outside paragon! its going to be super hyper and fun! tell you the details.

there is only one rehearsal this coming sunday:

17th december 130pm to 430 pm

Touch Centre Auditorium (to be confirmed)

Training: Balloon sculpting, combined choir and final briefing.

After that would be the actual event already!.
